Privacy

Database, uploads en chatmedia staan op servers in de EU.

Account

E-mailadres, weergavenaam en een bcrypt-hash van je wachtwoord. Optioneel: telefoonnummer, korte beschrijving, woonplaats. Je kunt je account altijd verwijderen; je advertenties worden dan verwijderd en je persoonsgegevens gewist.

Inlogsessies

Per ingelogd apparaat bewaren we een sessie met het apparaatlabel dat de app meestuurt (bijv. “Zilo Android”), en wanneer die is aangemaakt en laatst gebruikt. Refresh-tokens slaan we alleen op als SHA-256-hash. Sessies verlopen na 60 dagen zonder gebruik, als je uitlogt of als je ze beëindigt onder Inloggen en beveiliging. We gebruiken geen device fingerprinting.

Passkeys

Voeg je een passkey toe, dan bewaren we alleen de publieke sleutel, een teller en de naam in de lijst. De privésleutel en je vingerafdruk- of gezichtsgegevens verlaten je apparaat nooit.

Inloggen met Google

Kies je hiervoor, dan bevestigt Google (Google Ireland Ltd.) wie je bent en geeft ons je Google-account-id, e-mailadres en naam. We bewaren het account-id om je de volgende keer te herkennen; we krijgen geen Google-wachtwoord en geen toegang tot je Google-gegevens. De koppeling wordt met je account verwijderd.

Chat

Berichten zijn zichtbaar voor jou en de ander in het gesprek. Foto's, video's en spraakberichten staan los van openbare advertentiefoto's, zijn alleen bereikbaar via links die na enkele uren verlopen en worden 180 dagen na verzending verwijderd, of direct als de afzender zijn account verwijdert. De tekst van berichten blijft bewaard zodat de ander het gesprek behoudt.

Kenteken opzoeken

Vul je een kenteken in, dan vragen we de openbare technische gegevens van het voertuig op bij de RDW (merk, model, bouwjaar, brandstof, kleur, APK-datum) en bewaren die maximaal 7 dagen. Het kenteken wordt niet bij je advertentie opgeslagen en we vragen geen eigenaarsgegevens op.

Locatie

Advertenties gebruiken de plaats die je kiest en een optionele postcode; we gebruiken geen GPS.

Vertalen

Titels en beschrijvingen van advertenties worden automatisch vertaald naar de taal van de lezer, op onze eigen vertaalserver (LibreTranslate). Is er een DeepL-sleutel ingesteld, dan vertaalt DeepL SE (Duitsland, EU) de talen die DeepL ondersteunt. Vertalingen worden bij de advertentie bewaard en samen met die advertentie verwijderd. Chatberichten worden niet vertaald.

Privacy

The database, uploads and chat media are hosted on servers in the EU.

Account

Email address, display name and a bcrypt hash of your password. Optional: phone number, short bio, city. You can delete your account at any time; your listings are removed and your personal details are erased.

Sign-in sessions

For each signed-in device we keep a session with the device label the app sends (e.g. “Zilo Android”), when it was created and last used. Refresh tokens are stored only as SHA-256 hashes. Sessions end after 60 days without use, when you sign out, or when you end them under Sign-in & security. We do not fingerprint devices.

Passkeys

If you add a passkey we store only its public key, a counter and the name you see in the list. The private key, fingerprint or face data never leave your device.

Sign-in with Google

If you choose it, Google (Google Ireland Ltd.) confirms your identity and tells us your Google account id, email address and name. We store the account id to recognise you next time; we receive no Google password and no access to your Google data. The link is deleted with your account.

Chat

Messages are visible to you and the other person in the conversation. Photos, videos and voice messages are stored separately from public listing photos, are only reachable through links that expire after a few hours, and are deleted 180 days after they were sent, or right away when the sender deletes their account. The text of messages stays so the other person keeps their conversation.

Vehicle lookup

When you enter a licence plate, we ask RDW (the Dutch vehicle authority) for the vehicle's public technical data (make, model, year, fuel, colour, APK date) and keep that for up to 7 days. The plate is not stored with your listing and no owner data is requested.

Location

Listings use the city you choose and an optional postcode; we do not use GPS.

Translation

Listing titles and descriptions are machine-translated into the reader's language on our own translation server (LibreTranslate). If a DeepL key is configured, listings in languages DeepL supports are translated by DeepL SE (Germany, EU) instead. Translations are cached with the listing and deleted with it. Chat messages are not translated.
